Two old people, excited and in anticipation of their big night, when the old man is going to unleash his philosophy of life, which he has been honing for 93 years, on guests. An influx of guests from all walks of life, including the president, make their arrival at the lighthouse on a secluded island. Accommodating everyone requires chairs, and more chairs. But the guests are invisible. And the old man cannot convey his message himself. He has gotten someone to speak on his behalf.

A free theatre discussion about Die Stoele is facilitated with the cast on Thursday, 28 March at 15:30 at the kykNET-leefarea (in front of the Absa Burgersentrum).
