Blitskursus in linosnee

PRESENTED BY Theo Paul Vorster

This workshop is perfect for those who want to start their exploration of relief block printing, or just want to try something new – non-artists and artists alike can join. A series of simple methods are explored together to create beautiful images on paper, which eventually become your own wonderful artwork to take home. The workshop includes all art materials, tea, coffee, bottled water, and light snacks. Lino cutting tools are provided for the class, but participants are welcome to bring their own.

Printing techniques, sizing and preparing paper for printing, creating or transferring images to lino, demonstrations of cutting tools, cutting lino block, inking and printing on the lino block and a demonstration on how to apply colour are all included.
