Die rooi ballon tells the story of a grumpy old man celebrating his birthday alone, when a magical red balloon appears at his window. Initially set in his solitary ways, everything changes for the old man as he is compelled to share his home with this lively balloon, which playfully coaxes him out of his grumpiness. Starring the award-winning Craig Morris, Die rooi ballon (The Red Balloon) was a Silver Ovation Award-winner at the National Arts Festival in 2023.
