They were just another married couple, until one day she stopped eating meat... Thus begins a series of events of increasing physical and psychological resistance. Her husband, brother-in-law and sister are witnesses to this enigmatic journey and her growing fantasies that take increasingly vegetal forms. A stage adaptation of Han Kang’s novel The Vegetarian, winner of the 2016 Man Booker International Prize. Nominated for six Woordtrofees and awarded as Best Production and for Best Technical Performance at the Toyota US Woordfees in 2023.
