Leë blikkies vol liefde

WITH Fiona van Kerwel FACILITATOR Lyntjie Jaars

"Educators often say that learners don't read enough, or that they don't always understand what they read, but I believe that children read a little differently today. And that's why educators have to approach reading differently." These are the words of Fiona van Kerwel in her foreword to Leë blikkies vol liefde. Her dream is that all learners will have the chance to interact with Afrikaans in a friendly way - that is why the short stories in the collection are so accessibly written by the contributors, among others Sisca Julius, Vincent Oliphant, E.K.M. Dido and Diana Ferrus.
