Mathys Roets and Anna Davel performed together for the first time 20 years ago during the recording of Mathys’ DVD Vrydag die 13de. They now bring together some of their most beautiful songs in a fun, get together show with stories of trains, lost love, nostalgia and blue oceans. Of course, a whole new colour is given to the original Afrikaans music from each of their respective albums, including “Fluister”, “Te lank al”, “In my lewe” and “Die gypsy in jou oë”. More famous songs are arranged as duets and the audience can look forward to the warm sounds of Mathys’ deep voice paired with Anna’s more lyrical touch in the music of Roger Whittaker, Koos Kombuis, Vaya Con Dios, Coenie de Villiers, Leonard Cohen, Neil Diamond and Lucas Maree.
