Helenè Bester en Jannie Moolman: Nag in die Namib

WITH Helenè Bester, Jannie Moolman, Franco Engelbrecht (violin and percussion) and Cornel Engelbrecht (piano) SCRIPT, DIRECTORS AND PRODUCERS Helenè Bester en Jannie Moolman MUSIC Heinrich Pelser and Engeli le Roux

Helenè Bester and Jannie Moolman offer audiences the best of both worlds. Classical and light! With their good sense of humour and voices that complement each other, this production is a must-see. Their hit “Nag in die Namib”, released as a duo last year, is included. Danie Niehaus’ beautiful song “Kleure” was arranged and recorded as a duet for them. “Bitterbessie dagbreek”, previously performed by Anneli van Rooyen, is also a favourite that they sing as a duet to stir the heartstrings. Helenè throws in a touch of Nana Mouskouri and Jannie fully exhibits his opera voice. Favourites from Lucas Maree, Jannie du Toit and Sias Reinecke are also part of the programme.
