WITH Jori Snell SCRIPT, PROPS, COSTUMES AND PRODUCER Jori Snell, Baba Yaga Theatre ARTISTIC ADVICE Sandra Pasini

Once upon a time, even before time began, there was a girl, a pelican, and a seed. They embark on a magical journey to find the very first golden seed of life, called “The Heart of the Ocean”. Meeting creatures of the forest, and making friends with flowers, insects and animals, this performance is a tale of friendship, loss, courage, and a tribute to the forces of nature and the imagination. Enter the atmosphere of Costa Rica’s diverse jungle, where this production was conceived and initially created: a visually playful space, filled with song, dance and physical storytelling. The Heart of the Ocean highlights the value and beauty of nature and the discovery of one’s own imagination. Jori Snell is a multi-award-winning director and performer.
